a year agoMy husband was very happy to find a Spanish restaurant with authentic taste, good atmosphere, plenty of parking & items to purchase from Spain. Looking for Jamon, they have it!!!! Membrillo, they have that as well!!!

Edited a year agoThe cashier was very nice (I am only English speaking so I had to call my mother in law to have her help me give my order). The jamon croquettes were crispy and perfect, and the cortadito was delicious!

Edited a year ago09/26/2024 On my second visit to this restaurant, I have a suggestion for those who haven't been: on Thursdays, the tapas are 50% off the regular price. As for the dishes, my opinion remains the same as before comments — they maintain their quality. The service, as always, is exceptional, with the owner leading by example. 08/20/2024 The effort of running a successful restaurant doesn't go unnoticed when the work is done well and with quality. This is the key to success for many, especially now that there are so many "Spanish" restaurants in Miami where quality is more appreciated. Food: The patatas bravas deserve a special mention—nothing frozen, and the sauce is authentic. The salmorejo has a good flavor, though it lacks texture, and the ham is difficult to eat since it’s not chopped. The callos are well-prepared, but the croquette isn’t to my taste. Service: Since it wasn’t peak hours, I’ll highlight other aspects, like the very reasonable pricing, correct portion sizes, and excellent wine prices. Ambiance: The decor is modern, everything is very clean, and there’s a selection of Spanish products available for purchase to take home. However, the music doesn’t quite fit the setting. Conclusion: This place closely resembles a Spanish bar, run by Spaniards, with authentic Spanish products. Kudos to them for the effort, and I will definitely return.

a year agoThis is my second time in El Español, and I love the food; it takes me back to Spain. Croissants with manchego cheese and prosciutto (jamón serrano), fresh zumo de naranja. I'm in love, eating here is like eating en el bar del pueblo, in a small town in Spain.

a year agoI was in Spain for one month and had not been treated to such great food as at this establishment. The “Cola de Toro” (Braised Bulls tail) was tender, well marinated and deserving of the highest ratings. A bottle of Rivero del Duero was exquisite. The chef/owner said he’s from Segovia and his humbleness provided the personal touch of a home style restaurant.

a year agoThis place is only one word “ AUTHENTIC”, ran by an Spanish chef that serves you and talks to you making you feel you are in a small town in Spain. The prices are unbelievable low for the quality of the food. Can’t be happy enough. I have never been in a better Spanish restaurant here in Miami.

a year agoI simply loved it. One of the few restaurants that the food feels authentic. I love the food. He’s also has a good verity of Spanish products. I meet the owner ( Cesar ). Great guy and good chef. I recommend this place for those who love tapas and a relaxed atmosphere.
